Agreed. Thats a word that shouldn't be thrown around. "I love your shoes", and then "I love you"... how can words be trusted?

thing thats weird about the word "love" is.. its technically a scapegoat.. i am in love with my girlfriend.. no doubt of a lie.. before i liked a girl.. she asked me out.. for a dare.. which i wasnt aware of till after a whole month.. a whole month of asking her to the movies.. wondering.. "oh imagine if i have my first kiss with her!" and being in "love" with this girl i hardly knew.. to my hopes being destroyed.. in one instant..

now im more cautious.. my new girlfriend and me have been going out for two years.. a secondary school romance if you will.. everytime i see her my heart pounces.. and i generally could say.. what would my life be without her.. but.. that is the question.. if love wasnt there.. where would i be.. partially relying on this one "entity" to keep my happy.. to keep me in love..

well as long as my journals somehow seem to spark off opinions..im done with the word 'love'.. overused in all the wrong ways and reasons. It hurts to even think people use it without thought. nothing people say anymore counts unless they show it thru actions and gestures and i can actually feel they mean it.

i understand you georgie.. theres times where i think.. am i relying too much on it? does she REALLY love me back even though she doesnt show me much?
and yes.. it does get thrown around alot.. by people that want things from people.. so they have to essentially tell them.. what they want to hear.. and people that just do it out of habit..

its not fair when its said and not shown..
